My name is Kristin and this blog is my attempt at documenting our Washington life. See, my husband, Chris and I, are natives from the great Show-Me state of Missouri, who left our families and friends to move to our Nation's Capitol, Washington, DC. So, I decided to start this blog to share our lives "out east" - what we're seeing and doing - so that hopefully we don't seem too far from our family and friends 1,000+ miles away!

We've lived out here in the DC area for almost 4 years now and are slowly becoming seasoned home-owners of a DC row house, pros at navigating DC traffic and tourist sites, and, all-in-all, true Washingtonians. Hopefully this blog shows a little bit more about who we are and what our Washington life is like!
